| New Member ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: New solenoid <shrug> So I needed some cells and liked the new handset straps and my old Apeks flowstop is blowing bubbles and it was so easy to just tick the box for that as well... I can see the online store is going to be a total liability.

![]() | Re: New solenoid I like this part if is true: Much lower power consumption - half of the original - resulting in significantly longer battery life, Nominal consumption = 0.6Watts Not sure I understand how to fit it, old one was easy to change with a soldering iron ans then some heat shrink. If i saw a picture of the new connection it would be easier to see how to fit it. Problem is I already have a spare old one which cost about £40 and the new is £85, is it worth it ?? |

| In my own little world ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | ours are in, made from stainless steel we are using a different configuration to the one ap seem to be using, but ours can only purchased from us and we made ours to handle the harshest environments, we have been testing our for over a year and on deep dives with out a beat missed, i have been updating our website all day to show a load of new stuff coming out in the "coming soon" page, as well as updating older pages, there are a few projects we would like to share with you but I'm sure we will be copied before we release ![]() so for now you will have to use your imagination.i've put up a couple of special offers on the site as well. kind regards john routley

Ours is stainless and oxygen cleaned by the manufacturer in a clean room. We didnt go for the very cheap nickel brass ones that have rusted.Brent: this sounds similar to the solenoid you are using??
