| Do you have the hose tool ? I guess probably not otherwise it would be a 3-second job. Without the hose tool to hold the internal insert tight while you rotate the back ring to go over the 2 split-threaded parts, you will have use something to hold the internal inserts. In the past, I use a channel lock with a piece of cloth for the thicker hoses (KISS), but with the thinner Inspiration, it might not be necessary. In case you chose to use any tool to hold the insert, be careful and not to clamp down too tight or you will crack the internal insert. I find it useful to keep spare hose end components in case of mishaps... ![]()
