Re: AP BOV and wireless WDC?? Only wireless experience I had was with Uwatec computers and the link always broke when I was near a photographer at the activation of the strobe. Go figure! Best Philippe

I also had my doubts about the Oceanic mask before I got it but I had 2 weeks time to return it for a refund if it didn't do the job. Best Regards. Wael

Re: AP BOV and wireless WDC?? GSM is just magic Radio and Wi-fi is very spooky Voodoo, fortunatly its banned at work because our Austrian Overloads believe it to be unsecure, until they develope the Enigma-Fi we are tied to earthly cables. They do have Enigma-Fi, it's called WEP and just as easy to crack.![]()

Hmmmm maybe you need this .... or perhaps someone can explain DMZ's and VPN to the teutonic overlords (I prefer the first option personally).Long story short- Wires rule, wireless sucks... and is pointless when both ends are strapped to your body! Now, wireless comms to the surface is another matter entirely and something worth consideration IMO. You're telling me that people get into black rubber suits, strap on harnesses then complain about feeling "restrained" by a bit of wire. pah. just do the zip up on the gimp mask.... silence. As for comms to the surface, I go diving for the peace and quiet....it'd have to be one way comms "surfacing in 10 mins, commence nuking the pasty and get the kettle on"

Re: AP BOV and wireless WDC?? I saw the new Bov from APD twice : once at an exhibtion in Paris and once in Dusseldorf. For what I heard, the price should be around 300 £ or 580 US$ or 400 €. I do not know what you will get for that price
