Re: Inspo Harness Question

I do not like the way the padding in the standard harness traps air on decent then holds loads of water when you come to move the unit after the dive. I also do not like the dangly bits of webbing. My unit now has a steel back plate and home made harness.

Congrats on getting your Inspo Classic!

Who are you doing your Mod 1 with?

Let me know if you want to show it off to someone who can appreciate the finer things in life.

Steve
Cheers Steve ,
Not booked Mod1 yet, I'm doing TDI Adv Nitrox & Deco Procedures on OC in about 4 weeks time, I'd already provisionaly booked the course and I want to do it with the instructor (Mark Powell) - then I'm going to book Mod1, possibly NEDA at Sunderland or Dennis Wigg, over in the North West or Mat Robinson - not made a final choice yet
I'm away most of next week on business but we must have that beer! I know I'm bloody useless , couldn't organise a time and we're only just up the road from each other .
Will get in touch next week
Marty

Edit: forgot to mention I filled her up with lime for the first time today and have spent the afternoon playing, calibrating and just breathing in and out - I really need to get in the water!!!!

Re: Inspo Harness Question

Thanks for the comments folks, I'll probably convert to a backplate (I have a spare) and make up my own harness with under the counter lung stick out D rings and those nifty little connection brackets that go on the waist belt to tie down the counter lungs - but I will do Mod1 with it as a standard unit, although I have already added a bail out reg and changed the Auto air
"now lets see, what else can I change?"

Re: Inspo Harness Question

Hi guys,

I have some problem with the D rings on the original harness and wing. The wing's D ring is very hard to reach with the drysuit and the D rings on the harness are barely accessable. But, I do not want to change the harness yet as I feel it's very comfortable and therefore I have ordered 4 extra Welded D rings but wanted to ask if you guys have any good suggestions about where could they be attached to in order to attach/dettach the Deco tanks easily.

Best Regards. Wael
