Re: How heavy is yours?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all your help. I have finally got my unit and have stripped it down to the major components and weighed them on a calibrated set of scales.

These are all for an Inspo Vision with the new type case. All weights are in kg's :-

DSV and hoses upto the 'T' pieces. This includes the weight rings. 0.881
Inhale hose from scrubber to 'T' piece. 0.263
Exhale hose from 'T' piece to scrubber. 0.244
Empty cylinder complete with valve. 4.389
Counterlungs (medium) complete with inflation buttons and 'T' pieces. 1.575
Harness (Large). 1.987
Comfort backpad. 0.230
16Kg Wing including Autoair and corrugated hose. 1.518
Manifold, all HP & MP hoses (including autoair feed), 2 x spg's, 2 x 1st stages. 4.072
1 x Battery. 0.043
Case. Front and back complete with internal straps and all bolts and nuts. 3.575
Scrubber unit complete. Includes head, O2 cells & tempstick but no batteries. 3.497
This can be further split down into:-
Head assembly complete with O2 cells but no batteries. 1.999
Scrubber and internals including tempstick. No head unit. 1.498
Scrubber body only. Complete with exhale leg. 1.078

So,,,,,,without the cylinders, my Inspo weighs in at miniscule 17.928kg ready to travel.

I will be weighing my crate aswell soon, so I'll post that aswell when its done.

Regards
Stewart
