| Re: EVO modification The first thing I did was replace the Evo harness with a back plate and web harness from my OC days. A standard BP fits perfectly, I am still using the wind from the Evo. Rob |

| Re: EVO modification Hello! I dove about a year with the standard harness, then upgraded to a normal BP/Wing. I use the DSS plate (Tobin is a member here...as user cool_hardware52), along with a couple of custom pieces he's machined that really help stabilize the whole situation. The plate does rock a bit, if you don't have the brackets, so I suggest them to prevent cracking.I'm thinking about a new harness and a new wing for my evo. ![]() who has some experiences with the evo and different wings and harnesses? thanks regards anton I use an Oxycheq Vertex 55 wing. Nice lift, and fits perfectly. All the holes on the Evo are 11 inch centers, so just about any industry standard plate and wing will fit. There are some nice CCR specific wings, but at the time I upgraded, they were all equivalent to the standard lift of the stock wing, more or less. I wanted one with more lift than the APD wing which ships with the unit, as I consider it wholly insufficient for cold water diving. The Oxycheq is nice because it's not too "thick" at the top, which would push the breathing hoses up, and it's a donut wing, so air moves freely side to side.
