Despiration "the reworked classic"

following on from the rebuild/cracked handsets thread i forgot to post some pics of the finished article after testing.
you get a better idea of the controllers when they are on the unit.
As expected no problems on fire up with function or leaks after the pressure test & the shearwater HUD does what it says on the tin.
A few more weak links removed should make it a bit more reliable in the future.

Very pretty!! Congrats on your efforts, did you change the connection to allow the handsets to swivel?

I've got a little more time on my warranty before such a big change, but if it has to go back for repairs 4 times again this summer

maybe that sentiment will change

Hi russ cheers i've enjoyed sorting it.
its been pissing me off for a long time.
in answer to your question, no the handsets don't have a swivel if you look on the head were the hoses go in you have 2 knurled heads if you undo them you can pull out turn and relocate the hose in its" square hole "to turn it round to the right position if you have a problem with alignment.
tried to keep things robust & simple on this for reliability .
would you like to share your list of problems with your unit stating its age and nature of failure.
