![]() ![]() ![]() | Co2 monitor. I'm curious on what it would take to fit a classic inspiration with a Co2 monitor for an added safety margin? What would it cost and how difficult would it be to do? Are there any companys out there that you guys could point me to that would be able to make something to fit? Thanks -Andrew |

Isn't everyone! ![]() Assuming this is a serious post: lots of people have looked into CO2 sensors, nothing on the market yet but getting very close now, do a search.

There are several possible technologies, from infrared, to chemical, to pCO2 gizmos used in a clinical setting. As far as I know, all are in some level of development. But, we're all waiting

Tom Rose was demonstrating his monitor at DEMA. It looked very promising. Hopefully it will be available soon. Thanks -Andrew

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Co2 monitor. Andrew, Spend a couple minutes using the "Advanced Search" and you will be able to review the past threads on the topic.. Mark I did do a "Advanced state of the art search" on the forums and found a lot of opinions and theory but nothing that I found useful. Thats why I asked to see if there was some new ideas on the subject. Glad you can point out the obvious on using a search, well put post. Last edited by Andrew Espo : 20th November 2007 at 01:47. |

If things work out as planned and success is continued....always a big if in a development/testing project it will result in a retrofit monitor that can be used with any two hose rebreather (assuming that the hoses are inhale and exhale) and a little rerouting of the makeup oxygen line.Tom

Any idea on when something like that would be avaliable?Tom |
