| Totally Submerged Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Anyone tested Philips CRP2 batteries ?? Hi, Yes, that's because they are only 600mA. But I almost recharge them every fourth dive when I change the sorb and they operate quite well even in cold water where the water temperature varies between 2 degrees C and 5 degrees C in winter time. I use them for B1 and B2. They are said to be recharged about 1000 times and have 2 years warranty. In anyway, for the long run, I think it would be much cheaper than normal batteries. That's something I'm testing myself. Best Regards. Wael |

| Totally Submerged Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Anyone tested Philips CRP2 batteries ?? Hi, I think since the time I started using them (about 6 months ago) until now they are performing well. If I keep the machine on during the SI then after the fourth dive B1 will drop to 2 bars. With Lithium batteries the advised method is to drain them as much as possible then recharge again but that's definitely not possible while using them on the inspo/evo as you don't want to go diving with low power. I was a bit sceptical at the beginning when I started using them as everyone talks about the Duracell to be the best and for some reason they think rechargeable batteries are not compatible or good to run on the machine. Of course when you have such a machine you want to take care of it the best way but that doesn't mean NOT trying new things and for me it's working fine so far. Best Regards. Wael |

![]() ![]() | Re: Anyone tested Philips CRP2 batteries ?? Udate: -durability is 1/4 compared to varta in normal conditions -in cold conditions do not use this kind of battery (Shortly after the descent, the new battery showed only one brick) Thanks for the update. I will test the batteries in mid January when I am going to the red sea. // Blomman |

Just make sure that you will take a universal plug converter as the batteries recharger has a US plug while in arab countries they use more like European plugs in their appliances. Best Regards. Wael Thanks but the Philips CRP2 batteries are not rechargeable so no converter is neccessary. // Blomman |
