Upside Down Evo

Has anyone taken their evo out of the YBOD and but it in a trame frame and reverse the first stages....that is to place the valves near your head instead of your waist? If so how did it affect your trin/buoyancy. Did the hose lengths work or was it a complete rebuild?

Thanks
Tony Flaris

Re: Upside Down Evo

Decoweenie frame and 40s, trim was fine. Only used it like this for a short bimble to see if it worked.

Re: Upside Down Evo

Nice twin set... whats the box for in the middle??????? Do you really need that much O2 ?????? Interesting O2 cylinder shutdown. I think you have lost the plot.

One of the reasons for a travel frame is that you can use any tanks that come to hand if standard inspo/evo tanks aren't available at your destination. Don't know about the others but when I took those photos I was experimenting to see what was possible and how the trim was. It worked fine, good trim and easy to get to the tank valves.

Any other pearls of wisdom you would like to share?
