| Vision C2 issue on last dive...ideas I have been diving my Vision now for about 9 months and love it logging over 60 hours in those 9 months. Yesterday I had my first major issue with my unit. 50 minutes into the dive C2 shut down instantly, no low bat warning or anything. I was able to turn C2 back on but still has anyone had this happen to them before? The scary thing is when I downloaded the dive to my computer to replay the incident it shows both batteries going dead at the same time, but C1 showed both batteries operating at full capacity (which it should since I replaced both batteries only 7 hours ago.) I check the batt contacts and they look new. Just a glitch? If anyone has had this happen does it get more and more frequent? I have a couple of deeper dives planned this week and was already planning on sending in the head next month for service. |

I had some battery issues as well but they were traced back to corrosion on one of the springs in the battery coimpartment. I now use a contact spray. I apply it whenever I change the batteries. I don't know whether this stuff is breathable, so i leave the battery compartement open for an extended after using the spray. The scary thing is when I downloaded the dive to my computer to replay the incident it shows both batteries going dead at the same time, but C1 showed both batteries operating at full capacity (which it should since I replaced both batteries only 7 hours ago.) Also, which brand of batteries are you using? Panasonics is a big no-no. Peter |

The battery terminals looked good when I opened them up, but I'll try that stuff out, can't hurt. Are you using the latest version of the software? Also, which brand of batteries are you using? | toni the strange Current Rebreather/s: | I had nearly the same problem. I changed the two batteries before my last diving trip. The next day i jumped in and suddenly c2 went off, the battery was dead. B1 had low voltage. I used 2 brand new Varta's I doesnt know where the mistake is. The corrosion of the springs sounds good, will check it.... greetz anton sorryformypoorenglish
