Bad Timekeeping!

I know that sometimes it is quite fashionable to be late your own wedding etc

But then are times when it is not a particularly good idea missing stops etc

Hmmm now I do like my nice shiney Vision leccies and I prefer them to the VR£

But I don't like their bad timekeeping skills

It appears to be getting stuck when it hits the 17 seconds mark in each minute and thus is loosing time

Beanie babysat my electronics on Saturday, while I nursed gungey ears, and clocked up a short and sweet 20mins on the VR3 and 21mins on a Suunto Solution as back up. The Vision however clocked up 16mins

Have emailed Nicky at AP so will wait to hear what comes back.

Didn't know if anyone else who has uploaded the new version 30 update has had the same problem?

I know that the last software update, about a month ago, was to rectify a similar sort of problem. But it appears to still be present somewhere in there

As I sat there watching the lecis not counting every second as it should, it was quite alarming.
My only comfort was that the PPO2 was reading as it should and that I had a further three timers

And this is latest-greatest version 30 that I just received last week in the mail ? Great...

May be it will be version 35 by the time my unit get here -- it has been in UK Customs for about 3 weeks waiting for export papers. ARRGGGHHH!!!!

Now thats just rubbing it in, I bet every time you get an update your heart bleeds for your unit stuck in customs

Bug Smug, I think if you ask the coders that wrote it, they would confirm that this is really just a undocumented feature!

Whatever it is, I don't like

Its also not something that you'd notice straight off, so I was glad that it was only on a short and sweet bimble and not a more 'serious' dive that Beanie noticed it. Although either way its not good. Hopefully it should be sorted soon, and another software update should be winging its way shortly

Then again it could just be Beanie trying to put me off them because he's not keen on them

yes that was version 30 after we'd updated it this was the frst dive after the update was uploaded.

Version 30 uploaded Friday night. Double checked that the software version on starting up the handset is the correct one. Dived Saturday and it still doesn't want to play nicely

Mark __________________ Well, it is cheap stuff and it comes almost from the local gardening store, but it works fine and it's very solid. We tried to destroy one by hitting it with a hammer... we succeeded but we really had to hit it hard.
