My Evo with Ver 30 with Trimix deco is tracking time perfectly. On Ver 29 it was way out. Looks like the update fixed the timing for the Trimix version but not the other versions.

Cheers

Still nothing from AP yet, its been 2 weeks now...

Maybe by the time the dive show comes round something may have been sorted...

Unhappy Bad Timekeeping

Hello all, just finished Mod 1 on my new baby (Evolution) with Gary Fox on Hurricane in the Red Sea. Have been reading with interest the comments regarding the bad timekeeping and can confirm that my unit was doing exactly the same thing. All 3 of us with the Nitrox v30 software had different times logged for the dives which were at least 20 minutes out of sync with VR3 and Nexus time logged. Gary rang AP whilst we were on the boat and they said it was due to the conservatism level being based on 3, if we changed it to 1 or 2 things should be fine. Unfortunately we only received this information after the last dive of the holiday so am unable to confirm whether changing the level solves the problem or not! Once I got used to the buoyancy I really loved the unit and must say what an excellent, down to earth, straight down the line Instructor Gary is. Looking forward to a winter of Stoney Cove to get used to gaining experience on the unit ready for the summer diving season next year.

Gary's loverly... I did my MOD1 with him earlier on in the year in sunny St Keverne! Beanie's done quite a few of his courses with Gary...!

I've been in touch with AP put have still not heard anything offical! But I know Gary's well in with AP (they dived with us, when we were doing our course... eek!) so I can and do appreciate what he says.

I'll drop Nicky another email and ask her if all it needs is to change the conservatism level. I'll also email Gary, no doubt I'll be greeted with the usual torrent of abuse but he's a big teddy bear really

Cheers

Lou

Interesting, I've still not heard from AP... nothing... did assume because they may/ were at DEMA.

But not a sausage, all quiet on the bubbleless front for me

In the message I got from Nicky she said she was still in US after DEMA. She will be back in office in UK beginning of next week and normal service will resume then.
