| Re: Bad Timekeeping! As I have my name down for an Evo and plan top do my training in the next month or two I would very much like to know whether the problems raised in this thread (timing and random changing of settings) have been resolved by APD. An update would be appreciated. My lastest conclusion is here: http://www.rebreatherworld.com/inspi...p-2-223-a.html .I may eat these words some day, perhaps it's wishful thinking, but i don't think the issue is really a matter of software, at least not some of the time but rather a voltage regulation issue that can be prevented much of the time by a few basic steps (see above link for a thorough explanation of my hypothesis). i have induced most of the known issues, mostly by accident, when i got a bum batch of batteries. I got the issues to resolve without a software upgrade. My evolution has been very dependable, i love the vision electronics. Accept for some issues early on, my wife's unit has not had issues.

The problems I had in this thread were continuous even with battery changes in there and doing everything that was suggested ![]() The latest software update DID solve the problem, which had been getting slowly worse. With all the initial problems that I had with AP, things were dealt with on a personal level between myself and Martin Parker and I am extremely grateful for the time and hospitality that he and AP gave me earlier on in June. So yes with regards to ALL the issues I had with the Vision, these have been fixed. The Vision works a treat and I love it ![]() Sorry for the brief response, up to eyes at work, PM me if you would like any other info on the problems I had, but as far as I know, in terms of my unit working as it should be, it has done since the software upgrade ![]()

With all the initial problems that I had with AP, things were dealt with on a personal level between myself and Martin Parker and I am extremely grateful for the time and hospitality that he and AP gave me earlier on in June. I've also been dealing with Martin direct - I had some significant issues with the delivery of my Vision and raised them with him. He's been very responsive and has addresssed my concerns quickly, despite having been travelling. I'm hoping not to have any more problems that test AP, but knowing that, in extremis, I can go to Martin if I have to gives me a lot of confidence that they will be resolved. Cheers,

| Re: Bad Timekeeping! Thanks all for your updates. Very reassuring, even though it clearly took a long time to sort out. |
