| Re: Dilemma Question is what's a Vision worth what's a Classic worth? I've been watching the market closely, to work out what an Evo would have cost for my wife.Spec as: Medium Lungs with double inflaters Small harness New mouthpiece (will keep old mouthpiece with shortened hoses) 22kg wing About 30hrs use Classic bit handset covers optional: 4th/5th cell holder with 7 pin VR3 cable Vision bit Nitrox, latest version Temp Stick Classics seem to go between 2300 and 2800 GBP, depending on fit, age, condition and whether they have had new handsets/looms. Visions seem to go in the mid-4k GBP bracket at the moment. The odd one is listed at 4200 or lower. Evos are a couple of hundred less, I guess because they are slightly less attractive propositions. Of course, just like house prices, that's the asking price. What they actually go for is another matter.... Cheers,

| Re: Dilemma I don't see what the dilemma is. Prices on the vision second hand have come down and there are quite a few on the market (mine included, of course). Who cares if it's a vision inspo or an evo. Modifying a used vision seems much more affordable than even 6 months ago. With my limited experience diving the classic vs my relatively extensive experience diving the Vision; if you have the means to switch, i'd definitely take the vision over the classic any day for both of you...but i've been won over to the mCCR dark side for now, so technically I guess i'm in the neither catagory for myself, though I'll always have a thing for the vision.

| Re: Dilemma There has to be some benefit to both of you being on vision units. ![]() If you can afford, sell classic and buy Evo, go diving LOTs to make it worth while. ![]() ![]() Maybe even come to Oz for a dive holiday. ![]() ![]() |
