 | Re: MOD 1 looming! half way through and all is going well!! all the theory done, my instructor and i totally stripped and rebuilt the unit today and all was good (nice one Ash!  )gotta go to the pool tomorrow, we'll see how the bouyancy goes! i have to say - I'M LOVING EVERY SECOND WITH THE UNIT!!!! its even worked out that i'm 1:1 with my instructor  i cant wait for tomorrow! |

 | Re: MOD 1 looming! glad it is all ok (i did look after it !) pool work is always interesting !! i found buoyancy much harder in the shallows to begin with. Down deep it is much simpler 1:1 is a great ratio to work with as you get maximum benefit from the course. enjoy |

| Re: MOD 1 looming! well, i'm back from the lake - thats 4.5hrs on the unit so far i love it!! bouyancy is getting better (untill the instructor tells me to do a skill!!) got the last 3 hrs tomorrow - i cant wait what really got me today was the moment my instructor made me bail out and stay on O/C as we asended - it seemed so - primitive??! |

| Re: MOD 1 looming! i did it!! - i passed my MOD1 today. what a fantastic experience, i just cant put into words what i feel like today! i would just like to say how fantastic my instructor was - mr Alex Mcnellan of rec-n-tec in london colney. he even did the last dive at stoney cove today with his drysuit leaking badly just so i could finish my course - he was drenched and very cold when we got out (i felt so guilty!!) - what a pro!!! |
