| Re: "Secondary" display for Vision units Nor the part number you give or the one I gave lead to a valid article for UK RS customers. Best thing to do for Beanie is to ask RS UK to get the connector from France or Germany.

Does anyone know if APD gets upset if the lid is sent back with the 4th-cell adapter still connected ? If not, then an y-cable could be one of the easiest way for remoavble before sending back to APD - not that a switchbox is difficult either. I have been lagging on posting the setup that Bruce at Shearwater did for me using Johns 4th cell adaptor and some of the AP connectors I bought from John. Bascially I had him hardwire in three of the AP connectors so if my vision died in the middle of nowhere I could plug into two of the vision cells and fly her manually with the Vision completely disabled. I have used it several times and it works fine, what I have been working on is figuring out a way to piggyback into two of the other cells so I have 3 seperate PO2s in addition to the vision and one of them would be the independent 4th cell. Does anyone know if having the cells piggybacked will have an effect on milli volt readings or cause any heartache when calibrating? I have a customer of ours who claims to have a solution for piggybacking the cells but have not seen the promised product yet. I was diving recently with some of the AP guys and they said to remove the 4th cell adaptor before sending it back to the UK as they would not appreciate the setup at all.

| John Routley ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: "Secondary" display for Vision units Someone (Lord M I think) posted a week or so ago that he'd taken his head back to APD for a check over. They'd commented positively on the design and modularity of the Narked@90 holder he had fitted. wow thats some thing i didn't expect to hear! So, I'd say, probably not..... Cheers, but at the end of the day there unit is CE'ed as a complete system so any changes with upset them, even it some of them think it's a good change! kind regards john

They dispatch also to England without problems. The dispatch costs approx. 20-25 euros. |
