| Re: Mounting a suit bottle to a YBOD John, Do the decent thing, get rid of the YBOD, Buy a Meg, then you can put the bottle anywhere using anything . . . . . simple!! Seriously, I'd recommend Rich's suggestion (Sorry for the other day Rich, heard it was an awesome dive ) or on the side on the black bit of the box. Dont worry about it pushing into the wing too much. Loadsa people do it this way.Cheers Pete

| Re: Mounting a suit bottle to a YBOD Hi, Do you have a backplate? If you do I suggest you sell the Metalsub and mount the argon tank on the backplate.I have just bought an Aluminium argon bottle and a Metalsub bracket to mount it with. Got home and had a look at the yellow box and can't work out how to mount it. If I put it on the 'corner' it seems to dig into the wing a bit. I have the older style lid with 4 clips. Anyone mounted thier bottles on the the side of the unit? Any information would be good. Thanks John http://plazma.kapsi.fi/pictures/insp...s/IMG_6169.jpg -Pasi |

| Re: Mounting a suit bottle to a YBOD Hi all, Thanks very much for all your postings, I have just got back from holiday (have the tan to prove it!) and have read through them all. I have been considering buying a Kent tooling cage and am waiting to speak to a friend and see his 'in-the-flesh' before I order. Thanks Pete for your 'help', seems expensive way to mount a bottle buying a Meg - ahahahahaaa! Wreck tour is pretty much done now - Sub tour next year - I'll keep you all posted. Thanks again for your help. John (loosing his tan as we speak - damn the UK weather!)

| Re: Mounting a suit bottle to a YBOD I need to carry quite a bit of weight so the Kent Tooling frame will help me shift it from my weight belt. As all my diving is in a drysuit the additional weight of the BBQ is fine. I carry 6kg with 2 x 7L steel stages!! A lot I know! John
