| Evo Divers: Ever use Intersurgical Spherasorb? I'm trying to prepare some logistics for some potential visitors to my location. I'd like to use Spherasorb as a contingency for not finding any Sofnolime. The title is self explanatory. |

| Re: Evo Divers: Ever use Intersurgical Spherasorb? I've used 4-8 mesh spherasorb in a classic inspo if that's any help. it worked well, although I dont think it's as efficient as 797 sofnolime. YMMV but I have had no problems using it for 75% of the canister duration I would use 797 Sofnolime HTH Simon A |

| Re: Evo Divers: Ever use Intersurgical Spherasorb? I've used it several times with no problems. Volume to volume, it contains less scrubber material as it does not pack as tightly. Tom

| Re: Evo Divers: Ever use Intersurgical Spherasorb? hi i use spherasorb for 100 meter dives with 4 grad watertemperature.works great. gruss sepp I've used it several times with no problems. Volume to volume, it contains less scrubber material as it does not pack as tightly. I'm unsure, so I think the Evo scrubber is smaller than the Inspo. ThusTom 1) Is the Evo scrubber the same as the Inspo? 2) the above experiences with the Evo? |

| Re: Evo Divers: Ever use Intersurgical Spherasorb? Refer to the response to an email I had sent directly to Spherasorb on the 10th of April/07... Hi John, Hope all is well. I have no data to support the use of spherasorb or loflosorb in this application. Thank You Tami LaMere Intersurgical Inc. -----Original Message----- From: John Robinson Sent: Tuesday, April 10, 2007 8:19 AM To: Tami LaMere Subject: FW: Spherasorb for use in a Diving Rebreather Tami, Please email this person back and let him know that we have no data to support the use of either spherasorb or loflosorb in this application. Thanks John -----Original Message----- From: jdicediver [mailto:jdicediver@XXX] Sent: Saturday, April 07, 2007 11:16 PM To: support@intersurgicalinc.com Subject: Spherasorb for use in a Diving Rebreather Do you recommend Spherasorb of Loflosorb for use in a closed circuit scuba rebreather? Sofnolime and Sodasorb are products from other manufacturer's that are commonly used. Please refer to the MSDS's attached. Reading your product specs, Spherasorb may have some added benefits over the aforementioned products. Also, your non caustic version Loflosorb may have some beneficial usage characteristics. What is your recommendation? Regards;

Have you or anyone you know used it in their smaller Evolution scrubber?Hi Giles I have been using this brand of sorb for three years and have done over 5 hrs on inspiration and more on meg her in the tropics with no problems. cheers I have full confidence in it in either of my Meg axial or radial scrubbers. Refer to the response to an email I had sent directly to Spherasorb on the 10th of April/07... I appreciate your effort. I already knew that they are stating "use at your own risk".Hi John, Hope all is well. I have no data to support the use of spherasorb or loflosorb in this application. Thank You Tami LaMere Intersurgical Inc. Regards; Dave Shaw used Spherasorb but I am not sure if he used them with his Boesmansgat dives. I hope that's not what he was using on his last dive.I believe Dr. Jerome Meynie also uses/used it in some of his deeper dives (with Boris & Mk15). Is that so DrJM? |
