| Inspiration Wing Hi all, After a bit of advice. Purchased a inspiration vision some time ago. The unit came without a wing and since then i have been using the old diverite superwings i had lying around. About time i purchased something that will suit just a little better! Any ideas on a replacement. At the moment i'm thinking along the lines of a OMS single 60lb wing or diverite rec wing. Or would people recommend getting hold of a standard AP wing? Cheers Silas |

| Re: Inspiration Wing Both are great choices. I prefer the SD wing because it's low profile and has a few extra attachment points(d-rings). The oms has more lift if you're diving with lots of steel. Either way, my friend "chunter" has accounts with both vendors if you're looking for a place to acquire them. |

| Re: Inspiration Wing Better off going for the proper vision wing - why its shaped to fit the Rebreather properly, nice and streamlined, also lift in the right places. I think the large wing is a better bet if you plan on any techie diving in the future - need the lift for multiple stages |

| Re: Inspiration Wing Both are great choices. I prefer the SD wing because it's low profile and has a few extra attachment points(d-rings). I am not enthused about the stadard AP/Buddy wings. Attachment points on my primary bouyancy device make me nervous. Plus the D rings are 90 degrees off from a waist belt D ring. I found they were harder to clip stages to one handed. The inflater hose is crazy long. When moving the unit around out of the water its always bumping into things and hanging down in the way. I know its that long because of the Buddy air inflator/reg on the end but I don't like that either. One more second stage full of seals and parts, and useless in a bail out situation on my evo. 2l of gas just won't get you out of the water. So the Buddy Air was replaced with a normal 16" corragated hose with a scuba pro inlator (not and Air 2). The wing is still on because I am still researching a good replacement. If you already need a wing, I would look for something other than the stock one. Just my opinion.
