Metal Sub Mounts and AL19 Bottle

Hello all.

I'm trying to set up a 19cf bail out on a Metal Sub mount on an Evo. I mounted it upside down, with a DIN reg. It seems that the reg/valve gets in the way of being able to reach the DIL valve in an emergency.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I had the exact same problem on an inspo with 3L faber on the metalsub bracket. The cylinder has an inline valve (same as the onboard ones), and as you say it gets in the way of the DIL valve.

The only way I could make it work was to slide the 3L up on the bracket, which made the top of the 3L protrude past the case, thus giving access to the DIL.

I'm guessing with the slighting larger alloy (I think it is longer), and shorter Evo this setup miht not work all that well though.

hmm

mount it as high as possible in the mount
angle the cylinder so its out of the way

not sure how much you can move the cylinder around on the metalsub mounts but it should leave you enough room to get tot he valve it was designed to take it

mines on an inspo, not a very good image
