| Auto Air Inflator Anyone gotten rid of the Auto Air Power Inflator that comes standard on the New Inspos and Evos? I havent had my Inspo a week yet, but I have changed out the power inflator with an Atomic SS1 Titanium, just curious if anyone else was not all that impressed with stock piece.

Welcome to Inspo ownership.Taking the AutoAir off is a pretty common change - there are a few threads about it on here. I'm still thinking about it, but now that I've found out how to tune the AutoAir and have a BOV, it all doesn't seem so important. Have fun with yours. Cheers,

| Re: Auto Air Inflator I also replased the AutoAir with a hose from DiveRite RecWing Now, that's a good idea. Is that the whole thing (i.e including the elbow fitting into the wing?) or just the hose and inflator, attached to the original AP elbow?http://plazma.kapsi.fi/pictures/insp...s/IMG_6169.jpg Much better ![]() -Pasi Cheers,

Slack the nut off half a turn and it stops the freeflows. What's more you never need to get them serviced because you can get them virtually new for a couple of quid off ebay from people swapping them out.

| Re: Auto Air Inflator Slack the nut off half a turn and it stops the freeflows I attest to this - a solution found with the help of the internet at the 11th hour before my first post-training trip with the unit. It cures all ills.Cheers,

The Inspiration wing elbow is original. The DiveRite hose fits it ok but the clamp was too big. I fixed it by placing a piece of innertube rubber between the clamp and hose.Cheers, -Pasi |

| Re: Auto Air Inflator I to have replaced mine, I found the original too big and too leaky even before I got it wet for the first time. I kept the hose and replaced the end with a standard inflater. I also added a second stage reg that swivels 180 to allow it to come over my left side which ensures I still have a BO fitted to the rig as well as the one I carry. | Re: Auto Air Inflator I agree with Rob, the standard inflator that comes with the APD units is just too bulky for my taste. Nothing wrong with them, just not my style. I have also re positioned the clips for the bottom of the counterlungs, moved the attachment point back a little, it helps out with getting the lungs a little more comfortable and streamlined. Anyone know where i can get a cover case besides the standard yellow one.

| Re: Auto Air Inflator Don't forget you'll need an OPV as well. I left mine on to see if it was as bad as people said. It never free-flows and I like the bulk of it because it's easy to find. So it stays on.
