Vision stopped logging Hi Folks, I was reviewing one of my log files from the weekend and there is a 4 minute window at the end of the dive where all the readings become static. There is no fluctuation in depth or ppo2 which is not correct. It just seemed to freeze the values for 4 minutes and then start logging again just before i ended the dive. I didn't notice this on the dive so maybe the handset was still reading correctly and the HUD was not giving any error signals, likewise there was no audio warnings from the unit. Anyone seen this in their log files?

Re: Vision stopped logging Nope, but to be honest i very rarely download my dives. I might leave it for a few months then do a download, so i tend to get a few graph dive readouts then the rest just log under the dive time/ switched on time and the log book features. I just tend to look at total unit dive time rather than idividual dives. But the log graph dives i do get all seem to work as expected, with warnings, PO2, Voltages etc etc. ATB Gareth

Re: Vision stopped logging I have this problem and I think it is the software upgrade for the APD Viewer not the Rebreather. Look at your older dives and you may see that the graphs are simular. Rob

Re: Vision stopped logging Folks, Tino De Rijk was kind enough to take a look at the profile and encouraged me to post the comments he had: Quote: I see what I hoped to see: a very shallow part. What basically happens is that Vision logs in 10 second intervals, and if in such an interval you cross 1.2 meter depth (or 1.5, I don't remember exactly), it assumes you are on the surface, and goes in surface mode. Looking at the length, you probably spent some time there shallow, or at least went to 1.2 meter every 10 seconds or so. As soon as you then go & stay deeper, it resumes logging. Things like setpoint control etc. of course remain functioning, but they just don't get logged (otherwise your logs would already fill up on the surface before & after the dive, with essentially useless info). Things like alarms etc. also always get logged, regardless of surface mode (if only in the CCX file, like e.g. every calibration gets stored in there, with all pre- and post cell values). I have included one of my older logfiles with an exactly same gap, from 28 to 32 minutes in the dive. If you look for it you will probably find more in your archives, if you instruct on your Turtle regularly and/or diving it shallow (I do, regularly). That is what happened in the divelog I sent you: I did a training ascent with some students, talked a bit on the surface, descended again. Thanks again Tino!

Re: Vision stopped logging AP have come back and said almost the exact same thing: Quote: He (their software guy) has analysed the dive and says that the It makes sense as i could easlily have been close enough to the surface for the logging to stop.screen has not frozen, it is a surface interval, it appears that you have gone to the surface (logging stops on surface, surface is deemed as less than 0.9m). However since you have descended again within 5 minutes of surfacing (1.2m or deeper) it is classed as a continuation of the same dive.
