| Handset routing Hi Inspo-divers, Have any of you experimented with handset routing? I have my handsets the "normal" way over the shoulder and down on the outside of the CL secured with the velcro straps. I was thinking about re-routing the handsets so that they would come out from under your arm and in between the CL and harness and finally clipped into the inner D-rings on the CL. WHY? I think in this way you could prevent accidental dragging handsets on the bottom (just like some new divers making a "follow me" trace with the SPG ) and making looking at the handsets a matter of simply looking down with no hands involved...Any thoughts or ideas? or is it simply plain Cheers Soren

| Re: Handset routing That's what I did when I had OTS counterlungs. It works fine. Now that I have backmounted lungs, it's even better. Allways try to streamline your gear, don't be a drag. |

| Re: Handset routing The primary comes over my left shoulder between the bailout tanks and the CL. The secondary comes under my right arm an i clipp it inside of the right CL on an D-ring. My SPG´s come left and right between and under the CL´s so that i don´t look like a christmas tree. Streamline is the answer. Cheers Markku ![]() |

| Re: Handset routing I have mine coming over my shoulder and are secured in the velco on the inside of the counter lungs. I find it very easy to find the handsets and I think its fairly neet. I also don't clip them together during the dive as once or twice before they would snag on something which I found rather annoying. |
