What can AP tell me? OK, if I have a serial number, it is my understanding I can get a bit of history on a unit. So, what can they tell me? Any other special info I'm allowed to ask for? Anything I should be asking for they're not supposed to tell me? Just curious. Digs.

Re: What can AP tell me? They will tell you everything they kow about the unit. When it was manufactured, and service work carried out and any known faults with the unit. Obviously if it hasn't been back to AP often they won't have much. Is the KISS not working out, you know it makes sence getting a Fisher Price unit ![]()

Re: What can AP tell me? OK, sounds good. I'll give them a bell Monday. Looking at Inspo for a couple of reasons, gogin to see how it works out. I got really pissed with the OTS counterlungs on the homebuild, but I think there's a couple of tricks I didn't try to make them more bearable. Digs.

So rear mount the lungs on the Inspo then Theres 2 or 3 different ways to do it Paul Channings way probably being the most popular way as he produced it in kit form but you do not need to have the extra metal of his kit or leave the lungs their maximum size ,mine aren't & if you look at John's web site he has the remote O2/dil addition kit for rear mounted lungs as well .HTH

Re: What can AP tell me? Don't want to back mount the counterlungs at the moment. Well, I do, but for now I'm going to try and keep a unit standard where I can. And having sold the KISS it is time for a bit of shopping ![]() Roll on this evening, going to have a look at a unit. This is the start of a long and painful process for me, after having told the world I'd never dive an Inspo if you paid me and held me at gunpoint. I'm having to concede I was a bit quick to judge, and that they're not the worst unit in the world. They do look like they've been made by Fisher Price though.Digs.

Re: What can AP tell me? Not just at the minute. Is it a BOV with adaptors for the Inspo, or are the ends machined from the existing plastic, or made specially? Either way I don't think I'll be buying this month. Plenty of costs already planned with whatever unit I end up with. ![]() Digs.
