There's no need to do anything destructive to your Inspo to back mount. It's perfectly do-able without breaking or adding anything. That said, I've just bought one of John's (n@90's) remote O2 kits to make it a little easier.

I think you are very wise to get used to it in the normal config though.

PS How ironic - you're going to an Inspo and I'm playing with needle valves!
