Guys I have just had a weird one.

Just took a brand new Evo out of the box and began a course with the new owner.

The problem we have is that I can make the unit switch on and off but he can't.

Every time he touches the buttons nothing happens but as soon as I grab the controller and touch the buttons she fires up.

Help ????

My dive buddy had the same thing happen with his Inspiration/Vision. The buttons would work for me, but not for him. This went on for a couple of days, and then the problem magically resolved itself, never to return! Wierd huh!

Strange, just thinking aloud here...

Does it have anything to do with the contact pressure on the piezo buttons ?

Have you tried to use the owner fingers to push the buttons (with your hands) yet ?

Stop being picky. I'd say it is a step forward from the inspo turning itself off when you don't want it to.

Its a compatibility issue, he isn't... should have bought a >insert A.N.other rebreather name here< instead.

Funnily enough I was training someone a few week ago on our machines at work (Optical sorting machines for the food industry) and he was unable to use the touchscreen! Anyone else touching the screen would make the cursor move or onscreen buttons operate but he wasn't... in the end I gave him a stylus from a palm pilot so he could complete his training. Guess thats not on option on a Vision?
