After rading some people having bad experiences, I just wanted to share that I recently got my evo back from SDS and I have nothing but praise for the service I recieved. i havent dove it yet, so who knows if the thing still works..lol, but I can tell you they did everything I asked and more. Even better, the bill was far less than I expected. I had the handset replaced (it had the sunspot on it from the early models) and also had the hose shorted. (hated it being so long). I then had the unit serviced and the cells replaced. I also had a question of a few of my dive logs missing on download (i guess even though it keeps the dives in the vision doesent mean it still has all the data for the dive so you can d/l it to the PC.) that was answered promptly and explained to my satisfaction. All in all, i give them a A+. Heck, they even threw in new batteries. Good Job SDS & AP!

SDS

I was about to start a similar thread on SDS. I had to have a loom rewire and then handset replacement. The head is back in my possession, all fixed and shiny.

The work has been done in a short space of time and I should be back in the water next weekend - Fenway Park to see the Police tomorrow.

Ed at SDS was particularly helpful,

I have always had excellent support from the US office. When ever I needed answers, parts ordered, even overnighted for students, they have always come through.

SDS and AP have always treated me very well. Ed and Mike at SDS are fast to respond to my questions, service orders and replacement parts. They are a pleasure to deal with.
