Got the bug now going over to DiveLife on Thursday to see the Evolution.
Can you recommend any books on the Inspiration or Evolution that I can buy.
Cheers
The bigger scrubber wont fit in the evo case but there is no reason why it will not work the other way round.

Of course but why would you want to do something silly like that ?

Re: Inspiration or Evolution

Try contacting Matt Robinson (MR Diving) in Stafford he used to dive an insp & now has an Evo. I'm sure he also had the insp scrubber in an Evo for a test but he can confirm that. Very good instructor as well.

The AP manual is very good, start there. I am told that the TDI and current ANDI manuals are not great. I think I have the IANTD manual somewhere, but I haven't had a good look at it yet. I'm told reliably that the BSAC manual is very good, and is available to non-BSAC members.
Other than that try "Diving without bubbles".

Re: Inspiration or Evolution

The latest BSAC manual on the Inspiration is excellent.
As is the book 'Diving without bubbles' (French and English versions are available). It is written by Eric Bahuet, Jean-Marc Belin, Laurent Ballesta and Didier Borg, and available a.o. from APD.

Ciao,

Tino.

I don't know for the Vision-versions of IANTDs books, but for the classic, it is just a copy of the original AP manual in the front of the manual, and in the back, there is a copy of the slides from the course... NOT NICE!!!!

don't make the mistake lots of people do by buying kit to do you now and not thinking about the diving you will be doing in the future then later saying i should have got the next one up, i have done it with computers etc, i dive the vision inspo full spec a buddy of mine got the evo and regretted not getting the vision inspo (bottle and scrubber size etc) but then again it is your choice
if you need any more info or help drop me a pm i am not far from you

also we did our course a long time ago with pete roberts lost contact with him now but i think he is in blackpool he would prob sort out a try dive for you
