| I got back from Philadelphia yesterday and after reading the decided to repair the cell for tomorrow's diving. I soldered the wires in and spliced the wires together. I taped everything up and attached the cell and turned a handset on! Result! Cell 2 was being picked up. Then I turned on the second handset or rather I did'nt. The RH Set would not turn on. Checked the batteries with a meter - Fine Dismantled the battery case - Current leaving both terminals from the case, again used the meter. Tried new batteries, nothing Cleaned switches - Nothing Unspliced Cell 2 nothing, Respliced it Cell 2 nothing Spent 1 hour rigging up an OC backplate so I don't let my buddy down tomorrow. I have I missed anything else, otherwise it's DHL to Silent Diving later today Regards, Paul |
