| Alibox and Metalsub mounts Hi guys, Have any of you out there with relatively new Alibox's mounted Metalsub brackets on them? Just wondering what the approach is. Have you made up a plate onto which you bolt the bracket, sandwiching the side of the Alibox between that plate and the bracket? Or are you just sticking with Cam-bands? Obviously there's a cut-out on the side of the box that the Metalsub bracket slips into, but nothing to bolt it to. Thanks for any advice. Mike. |

Just wondering what the approach is. Have you made up a plate onto which you bolt the bracket, sandwiching the side of the Alibox between that plate and the bracket? Or are you just sticking with Cam-bands? mrs vid will try the cam-band approach in a fortnight Mike, they're standard metalsub brackets (with holes)Do you have any pictures showing how and what brackets to use on the back cover of the case? | Re: Alibox and Metalsub mounts Brent, What different gases do you have in the 4 tanks ? Just curious... I am guessing 2 x O2 on the right, 1 x trimix diluent on the left but what is in the 4th tank ?

| Re: Alibox and Metalsub mounts This might be a stupid question, but wouldn't it be better with 2x7L instead of 4x3L? // Blomman |

I am guessing 2 x O2 on the right, 1 x trimix diluent on the left but what is in the 4th tank ? second dil gas for flushing the loop. I took the pic before I had marked up the tank contents correctly. I can see the reason for the confusion. Brent This might be a stupid question, but wouldn't it be better with 2x7L instead of 4x3L? I guess the above sorts that.// Blomman I usually have two rig configurations; 1, <75m, one dil, one O2 mounted on the unit and a 1.5ltr on the back clamp on the LH side with suit gas in. 2. >75m as pictured above. I always carry stages and use a combination of a pair of 7's or 80's. I have two of each. Deco gas also has a suit hose on it.
