| John Routley ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | i was contacted by paul jackman a few weeks ago as he had a design he wanted producing, and for a refreshing change he had a CAD drawing ready to go! trust me it doesn't happen many times his concept was to create an inspiration plate that held extra cylinders off to the side using cam bands that didn't require drilling of the unit to fit extra parts and to be Strong enough to hold large tanks if needed. so with Paul's drawings with a few alteration of ours we made his creation for him. Paul's report on it can be found HERE i am contemplating producing the JACKMAN PLATE if people would like one the plate takes any thing from battery packs to large tanks with very little movement and is a non destructive way of doing mounts to your unit but here is the pictures for now! kind regards john routley

![]() ![]() | Re: Jackman Plate Many thanks to John for humouring me on this plate, it worked out much better than I imagined. This was primarily designed to meet my needs, which I guess is not too different from many Inspo users. I keep my unit solely for breathing and use external cylinders for suit/bailout etc. As you can see it is fitted to my Classic Inspo. I am attempting to get hold of a Vision with a new case to try it. I'll post pictures when I get hold of one. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Jackman Plate What does it swim like with all that extra weight on it? Not tried it out in the water with large cylinders on the side. Still in early experimental days. If I can get to a quarry in the near future i will try things out.

![]() ![]() | Re: Jackman Plate Nicely done John. I am happy to do design work, but it is up to John for manufacturing. First offs cost much more due to set-up costs, and no guarantees prototypes work. Will you making one for the Evolution? Thanks If and when i lay my hands on an evo, I will take a look. Paul
