Me and Paul are still working on the proto type for the inspoWill you making one for the Evolution? Thanks but im sure we can accommodate the vision and evo dependant on the tests. kind regards john routley

| Re: Jackman Plate What stops you slinging a tank? Is there not enough room on the Inspo with the front mounted lungs, handsets etc?

| Re: Jackman Plate What are the advantages of such a system compared to the metalsub clamp system? The advantages to this plate are:1) The unit does not need to be drilled or modified in any way, it simply uses the bolts that attach the harness to the box - therefore if you ever sell the unit it is still in good condition. 2) The weight of any cylinders is taken directly on the bolts to the harness and not on the ABS case. Although the case is strong, the entire weight of the unit and stages would be taken at the point the harness bolts go through the box. On a standard unit the top bolt does not even have a washer to spread the load. With this plate the box takes no weight, as the plate takes it. 3) The cylinders are mounted further back - the problem I saw with most brackets is they need to be mounted on the case where it curves around the cylinders. This generally means that they push up against the wing and will press on the wing when inflated. 4) Because I dive all sorts of depths, using CAM bands is very versatile and quick to change. For deep dives, I will have torch packs, off-board oxygen etc. mounted on the unit with large side mounts. For shallower dives a small suit inflation/bail-out can be mounted with no side-mounts. With this plate I can reconfigure the unit very quickly, without the expense of having many brackets. Paul

This stacks up well price wise against the AP/Metalsub mounts and is much more flexible. Nice job! Cheers,

| Re: Jackman Plate I have used this plate for a bit now and I am very pleased. It will be getting much more abuse on the trip in a weeks time. John should be making more of these in the near future.
