Vision Dive Profile Memory

Hi,

Does anyone know how much data can be stored in the Vision computer in between downloads?

ie. I did 30+ hours underwater in between downloads in the solomons. Upon return I downloaded the unit and pulled back 8-10 hours worth. All the dives I did are logged int the unit, but the profile information didn't get downloaded.

About 10hrs

as I recall it stores basic dive data for so many dives
and full data for the first 10 hrs or so
I know Martin of APD did explain it to Lou she might remember better than me

Tino would know for sure but I think it's 8 hours and that includes the time the unit is on but not underwater!

I take my laptop when I expect to exceed the 8 hours.

8-10 hours sounds about right considering I got two days worth of dives.

Martin contacted me a while ago when I was asking the same question. His reply was:

Just back from 5 days diving, my Vision only captured the last 3 dives with a total time of 6 hours (113' + 150' + 97').

I was told by Martin Parker (when he reviewed some of my dives) that I turned the unit on/off to much; apparently it stores data when you do this & this reduces dive duration captured.

PS. I'll get basic dive details off my VR3, to complete my log book.
