| John Routley ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Scrubber Canister Glue Hi your can is made from ABS there are people that have just used super glue but the right glues are readily available go to a good plumbers merchant are ask for solvent cement for abs(solvent weld) and wile your there ask for a solvent cleaner. then take your scrubber apart and try to remove the old glue, give the area that contacts together a clean with the solvent cleaner give it an hour and then apply the solvent cement. i did it to both parts but try to not be to messy! then fit the two parts together giving them a twist to make sure the glue is really touching all around and wipe away any exes, then apply pressure to the parts( may be a heavy book) and leave it over night to be sure and all should be good for a few more years! kind regards john routley

| New member ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Scrubber Canister Glue Ok my scrubber cansister has come loose now what glue should I use to reglue the top to teh bottom. I know it clicks into place, but would be happier if I reglued it. Beware solvent glues can distort things.AP treat this as a warranty job. Phone Nicky.

They have impressed me this time as it took them over a month to fix the head, but suprisingly it was finished the day after I had sent them my C card. Can't fault them for service. |
