Does anyone know if theses are ok to use on a inspriation vision (i have found these in Radionics Ireland @ €11.19 + vat):

APD do not recommend Panasonics for their units, however, many people have used them (at their own risk).

Do a search on RBW, you'll find plenty of posts...

Does anybody now why the panasonic are not suittable for the classic inspiration. I used mine for the last 6 Dive hours without any problems.

I've used them pretty much exclusively on my classic, worked for me. I think its just the vision that doesn't like them.

I still have a load of them which I'll use in my classic, but will get the recommended ones for Lou's vision and mine when I've used all my panasonics.

I don't think that there's a huge price difference between them.

Some online sources for Fujitsu CR-P2 batteries:

Batterymasters.co.uk (but I find their postage rates for non-UK addresses are too high)

Batterycompany.co.uk (overseas postage rates reasonable)

Batterytrader.com (overseas postage rates reasonable)

Wasn't this all because of the original battery box in the Classic and the change to the new battery boxes used now? Forgot, just curious is all.

All of my Vision hours for more than 1 year of diving has been on the Panasonic (since that's all I could get locally).

Never a problem. So I don't quite understand the issue either...

Hi,

I ordered Fujitsus from Batterymasters for me and a mate last week. With VAT and shipping, they worked out at 15.72 GBP for 4 to a UK address, so 3.93 GBP per battery. Duracells, which are probably better, are about 1.5 times the price, so we went for Fujitsus as at this price, there is no reason at all to push battery life.

They were delivered in 3 days and have an expiry date of 2015, so good service all round.
