manual o2 inject base

Does anyone know if you can change the base without having to change the lung? is it easy to do?
I noticed while carrying out a neg and pos test on the unit that the base was leaking, on closer lnvestigation it is cracked. how this happened i dont know!!

yeah just unscrew it and replace it holds the lung in so you can removed the lung without taking it off therefore you can remove it without removing the lung.

you do need a 13mm hex (allan) key and its a reverse thread.

Many thanks, sorted thanks for the help. i have ordered two from AP (one for spare) as they are not easy to get in Ireland!!!!! I was however very lucky that a good friend of mine has a new vision in his shead that he wont be using for a couple of months, so i got his.

No need for the 13mm allen key, just use a 1/2" or 13mm bolt head, with 2 lock nuts jammed together on the other end fo the bolt, for the spanner to fit. Apparently some radiator bleed plug spanners are the right size (but will have to take advice there as we don't have radiators in Western Australia... no need).
