| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Evo Vs Inspo I'm sure this has been asked many times, but does anyone have any strong views on the pros and cons of the Evo vs the Inspo? I have narrowed my choice down to one of them, like the idea of the smaller unit. Any views appreciated? sorry if it's been asked - please point me to any previous threads - cheers, Andi ![]() |

| Re: Evo Vs Inspo Go to the Search drop down (top left), type "Evo Vision comparison" and you will have plenty of links. One quick example: HERE

A friend of mine has and Evo and the only snag was when we travel I can usually get 3L inspo tanks because they've been around a while but the Evo 2L ones weren't available.

| Re: Evo Vs Inspo I have been told by SDS who supplies tanks to rebreather friendly resorts in N. America and Caribbean that they are sending the 2L (13 C.U.) tanks only as they fit both the Evo and Inspo. In my experience in Grand Cayman, Fla Keys, Bonaire, etc.. I have rented the 2L for $5.00 a day. In fact, I only saw 2L not 3L for rent. Also check a few of my prior posts as I dive both units and have commented on the pluses and minuses of both. D |

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Evo Vs Inspo Thanks guys - all really useful stuff ![]() I think I'll be buying an Evo - really after longer 30m dives etc, not yet up for 80m stuff, but I know the Evo will handle that anyway, I'm only 5ft8 so the smaller size and lighter weight is attractive to me. Unfortunately, it all has to go on hold for a while, as I've just found out that I'm ill, will be out of the water, and most other things, until about Xmas, but at the current delivery rates from AP, I could probably order the unit soon and it will arrive in NZ by Xmas for me to start diving it in the Summer. | Re: Evo Vs Inspo ...at the current delivery rates from AP... ...which is currently about 4 months, and reducing.I am your size and also found the Evo much more comfortable personally. I haven't found any issue diving it deep (90m) as well as very long (5hr) shallow in warm water. Hope you feel well soon!

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Evo Vs Inspo Thanks Decoweenie - is there a website that I can see where there's a picture etc of the travel frame that you mention? looked at your's good site but no travel frame pictures I could see. From all my info, I still favour the Evo, Leigh Bishop was over here recently and he loves his Evo! he dives it deep and long as well. |
