| Re: What PSI for your Evo 2l Bottle Fills? The design verification process requires 2 things. 1) That the designer physically signs a form produced by worcover stating that they designed the cylinder while considering the safty aspects of its use. (They refer to some Australian safty standads, that say some very obvious things) 2) A competant person signs another piece of the form saying that the cylinder meets the Australian cylinder standards. (along with submitting some design paperwork) (A competant person is loosely defined, someone with similar experience with similar pressure vessels) Pass it over with 65 odd bucks and pay for a cylinder test & hydro. The HARD bit is getting Faber to sign the paper. I've been in contact and they are hard to deal with & unhelpfull. They refer you to the sole Australian distributor who's never brought any 2l in. Does anyone know someone friendly in faber who would help. ![]() Last edited by spottydog : 22nd April 2007 at 09:38. Reason: Typo. |

| Re: What PSI for your Evo 2l Bottle Fills? I have blown two of the original burst discs with fills around 3400/psi, always an exciting event... thankfully it's only been on the dil bottles. If you have the dot cylinders it really doesn't make sense to go over 3000/psi. Or at least replace the discs with something more suitable to the fills you want. |
