I don't know where I am going with this but the theme here is that JC did an awesome job drawing the crotch strap assembly. If you are going down to Dema, you deserve an award for "Best ad-hoc kit sketch"

Dear guys
Please I would like to show u mine and I shall tell u why I like it more then the plastic one.

First it doesn’t get break if a tank fell on it or some one step on it by mistake, if u did not see that maybe it will break during a dive.

Second no need for it to be 2 parts what for I just fit it in the waist belt, I can still make it smaller or taller or what ever I want to fit well.

Of course the tiny D ring I did is to use it with a scooter or maybe a tiny real or anything, and I made it from SS 316, 3mm

Anyway hope u like it , I made some picture for you to see it clearly.

Hmmm - just curious as to which part of the crotch strap you have seen made of plastic. I have a larger "D" shaped ring on my crotch strap, but other than that, I have the same setup you do.
