AP Vision Software Ver. 2.1.3

Got home, saw an e-mail from Nicky & throught "what the hell" and installed it for my dive on Sunday. Had seen the new battery test screen on start-up at LIDS 2007.

Other new features are to lock the battery display, once it drop below a threshold it stays there even if the battery voltage recovers after the solendoid has stopped. And a fix for the problem that NigelH experienced. Vision owners can see Nicky's e-mail for details. Oh, it also stores more gases in it's list.

Fires up OK, we'll see how it runs on Sunday, I doubt I'll notice any difference.

I got the same email and unfortunatly I won't have my head back from SDS until next week (not sure if the update will be loaded). Let us know how your dive goes

Got my update installed today with no problem. All seems fine so far.

Should be diving on Sunday (weather permitting).

QUESTION:
Anyone know how to change my Vision start-up screen to say my name and contact info. My current start-up screen still says SDS and their Tele No.

I think that's a back to the factory job; you can't change it as its to cover the situation where it gets stolen & is returned to the factory, they can identify rightful owner.

Are you saying that SDS or APD will not change it if I ask or that they will do it for me when I send my head in for service.

Anyone else change theirs?

They will do if you send it in for service, assuming your the registered owner of that lid (assume you registered with factory).

Actually APD can send you a file to upload onto it to make the changes. Did mine when I bought it

I did mine when I moved address. Nicky at APD did it over the phone and emailed me a new .ccr file.

See... not all bad service from AP

I saw in the release notes that you can now have AP remotely connect and program the unit. Might be a good time to call them and test it out by programming your name and address.
