help me!...i need a picture!

hey guys got a little question for you all over something i seen on an inspo....only thing is i've taken a pic of it but can't seem to get it onto a thread on this???

its on the drive of my computer just can't get it imported? just how do you get an image into a thread?

Hi Black-sapphire,

If you open the picture in your editing program and select 'compress' you can then reduce the pixel size to allow it upload here on RBW or you can email it to me and I will upload it in a post into your thread.

nb; Technology eh can't live with, can't live without it...

ok this is gettin seriously stressful....does anyone know how work Exif Viewer? tried adobe photoshop and it won't even let me edit the picture...exif will let me do things. just need 2 figure out the bit about gettin it 2 the net!!

Hi JK,

If you have saved the picture some where on your computer and it is less than 100mb the RBW limit you can hit the new reply and scroll down until you find 'manage attachments' click this and a new window will open.

In the new window hit the 'Browse' button and direct your computer to the saved picture and click 'Upload' and the file will be uploaded and you can close that window.

Come back to your post and click 'Submit Reply' to post the reply and the picture.

ok can't figure this one out at all. its probably staring me in the face but maybe i've ate too much chocolate...but fear not just had a brainwave. the picture i was looking to post and ask about appears in the April 2007 edition of SportDiver magazine on page 92, in the Technicial section. the pic on the bottom of the page shows four guys on inspo's. nothin new there then, but the guy on the far right has a very unknown(to me anyway) attachment on his inhale hose. it has an lp hose on it from the back and it appears to be linked to the vr3 he's wearing on his left arm and its quite chunky. so can anyone who has this mag take a wee look and tell me what it is. it doesn't look aftermarket as the fittings attaching it to the loop are identical to apd ones. scanned their inspo brochure and can't see this thing though. thought it could be their BOV, but its not out yet is it? is their anything else that attaches to the loop? i know a pic speaks a 1000 words but as you've guessed no luck there!!! eerrghhh!! any answers would be mucho welcome, thanks all jk

Hi Jonny,

I believe you are looking at the Bob Howel old style ADV ( Automatic Demand Valve) and a Fourth Cell Interface for use with a Vr3 although not the standard Delta P type.

The Bailout Valve (BOV) from APD that will be available approximately September 2007 will be mounted in the mouthpiece section of the loop.

I am sure someone else will be along with further info shortly.

ah i see, so the BOV will be a Kiss style second stage at the mouthpiece then. can't remember where i read it but i thought it was mounted further up the loop and injecting into the crinkly hose, almost like the twin hose oc mistral reg idea. thanks for the clarity on that one. jk

its a bob howell adv with a bob howell (i believe) 4th cell holder
