| Under or over, is it even important? Has anybody used the lift handle with the Kent tooling travel frame for their inspiration classic. I still can't decided whether to route the hoses over the handle or through it. Over it and they get crushed when sitting on the boat due to the weight of the lungs pulling them down onto the bar. Through it and they potentially get crushed under the top of the bar when I put the unit on since they want to sit more upright and straight than the lift bar allows (Its true that I've only noticed this by donning the unit and looking in the bathroom mirror - asking my dive buddy to comment on the unit set up during a dive would be a less than useful endeavour). I've dived okay with them through the lift bar, so the crush can't be that serious, and dived with them oka routed over it and not seriously buggered them up, so it probably doesn't make any difference. I'm probably being anal but what does anyone else with the lift handle and the travel frame do? |

It was originally designed for the hoses to go through, if it doesn't work I'd say that something's not quite right with your set up. Maybe you need to adjust your harness? there must be some photos of the lift bar set up in the gallery somewhere, would be worth comparing them to yours.
