Inspiration Classic - Handset Magnification Lens
Hi,

I'm new to this site and was hoping someone knows if their (and where to buy them) is a replacement screen cover to fit the inspiration classic handests that magnifies the display.

Holy CRAP!

This has my attention!

My eyesight has gone south in a hurry the last few years and I have been struggling with the stick on magnifiers. I would love to have a device that would enlarge the digits on my Classic handsets!

PS I think I'm going to have a bi-focal lenses fitted to my mask, which will solve my problem, as I have also brought a VR3 and I can't read that either! this is the manufacture I am going to use Sports prescription glasses - Specs4sport

Hi, you should contact Martin directly at the factory as he mentioned a few months ago that he was looking into this (as he has bad eyesight himself) - haha I'd better not get like that!!

Just FYI, for us old farts with bad eyes... Just saw from Carl at Sartek a replacement display for the classic handset that pops into the old handsets and transforms them from LCD to a *very bright* yellow LED array. Even I can read it.... you might think about talking to him.

Wait till you get to 45-50 and it's a fact of life.

It seems like 'What's the big deal, surely you can see when youy are 30-45 then suddenly you find out. Rude awakening. Life's a blurr literally.

I know the problem with the VR3 and I'll be damed if I'm going to pay the £50 for the PIN to upgrade to Big Graphics.

This is a safety feature and as such it should be free.

Thats a good point, how much is the cost of safety of others? The cost to DP is nothing, the benefit to others is great, the PR value is great too.
