| Evo Cylinders in Australia Just a quickie guys 'n gals. Has anyone got their 2l cylinders stamped in OZ, or are we all transfilling. I've had a close look at the process of getting the stamp, and it needs a design registration number with one of the states worcover authorities. Asking faber if this has been done is proving fruitless (slow/no replys) The next step is hopefully use someone elses registration number, or get a signature from fabers designer on a form, and an engineer to say that BS5045 means that it complies with AS 2030.1 Does anyone have any other sugestions. -Al. |

| Re: Evo Cylinders in Australia Spotydog I would be interested to hear what you find out as I will be heading to Perth later in the year with my Evo. I have posted a similar thread not so long ago and two results came back. Jason was very helpful and was able to offer advice on the stamping process and woudl probably be a good fella to buy a few beers. The other school of thought woudl appear to be simlpy flying them despite the lack of stamps and decanting/filling at friendly places ![]() I plan to use the second options to start with and then once I get in country and spent a bit of time working out what is what then looking in to the stamping process......although hopefully by then Faber will be importing the tanks anyway and I can simply source ready stamped tanks. Maybe the guys at AP can provide some assistance in getting the necessary drawings from Faber as surely they must have some good contacts with faber. I did contact Luxfer about design drawings as I also plan to bring my twin set over there and they had the necessary drawings to me in a matter of days. Good luck with the process Steven
