| Ditching the Air2 Hi I have finally been convinced that I should ditch the air2 and go for an under arm corrogated hose (practice bail out ascent from 50m saw to that) I already have a BOV and over pressure valve, so all I really need to do is choose a suitable hose. Under arm stowage is preferred, so it needs to be able to pull dump. Scubapro and custom divers have been suggested so far, but I would appreciate any any input from those of you who have already gone down this route. Cheers, Paul |

| Re: Ditching the Air2 I found it easier to simply take off the air2 and use the stock corrugated hose (cut to size of course) and simply using a diverite/generic power inflator. This works well and it's nice to have my familiar OC inflator back. Its rather hard to find a complete replacement for the entire elbow/hose on the stock wing. If you do a search there a few good threads on it. hope this helps, Russ edit, sorry I nticed you are looking for "underarm storage" so maybe I wasn't very helpful... |

| Re: Ditching the Air2 Hi, Leave the hose on your Buddy BC, unclamp the auto air and remove, cut hose lenght to suit. Then grab a BC/set of wings you no longer use, unclamp power inflator and reclamp onto trimmed hose on your Buddy BC. Job done in about 10min. If you have a BOV, as you do, there is no need to have an auto air or similar attached. I would advise against undoing the hose from the Buddy BC were it goes into the BC on the top left hand side of the BC itself.

I'll have a look at doing that, although I think the hose is going to be too short to stow under arm. What is the issue with disconnecting the hose from the wing? Regards, Paul |
