| Re: home builder or limited production assembler Sadly putting the house in the wifes name is about the LAST thing 50% of the men would ever do in there asset protection strategy... Instant DIVORCE. Nothing like being stabbed in the back by the one closest to you. Dave, you ever come up with a homebuilt diver charter I may have to give it a try. I'll take the chicken poo shallow run. I have not been past 30 feet in forever. Or at least since I was sentanced to life in h*ll... Idaho I meant to say. LOL.... I feel the same way about having the house in her name as I do having no boat insurance... it just makes it harder to argue. I've written the house off, and now she has no reason to use a fight over assets as leverage. Consider this is the marital equal of not carrying boat insurance.... "The house is yours, dear... as is the insurance, water bill, electric bill, phone bill, lawn care bill, gas bill, TV bill, and all the rest of the crap. I'm moving out to sea...." We will definately have a homebuilders day aboard EXPLORER next summer, probably a weekend event. We have a nice little wreck in 35 feet of water inside the Harbor of Refuge for a Friday evening "arrival" dive and then there's tons of good stuff to dive from 40 to 160 feet. We'll keep it shalow so all can enjoy. Dave
