| Disposable 02 rebreather Though the project is not finished, nor was it my intent at the start... It would seem that I have created the ability to mass produce an 02 rebreather at such a low cost that one could afford to throw it away and buy a new one each year. Or in my case I could make one and throw it away every month. I call it the Almost All Rubber Rebreather. As the name says, it is pretty much all rubber. A molded vest with built in tank pouch for a 6 cu ft tank. Molded lung and hose assembly. The last detail is the scrubber. At this point I still use a hard plastic scrubber but by this fall I may have it replaced with an eleastic non channeling scrubber. Other than a few plastic rings and the gas supply it will pretty much live up to the name. Imagine... 149.95 and all the sleek james bond good looks that go with it.. not to mention the movie deals. | Re: Disposable 02 rebreather Sure.. its cruel to speak of such things without sending any images. But I am known in other areas as Dr. Evil for doing such. Anyhow I'll see about getting an image or two of the current version of AARR posted. Dr. Evil no.. I mean: Bill |
