| Scrim bonding materials? Ok here's a new one... So I've got this cool polypropylene cloth that is perfect for the scrubber scrims from Polypropylene Mesh | Cloth Screening | Polymesh Now I need a frame to attach it to. Problem I'm running into is that the usual suspects (e.g. lexan or hdpe) won't take epoxy - at all. Even roughed up the strength of the bond sucks (in the case of HDPE, its non-existant.) I'm not sure I can successfully heat bond (thermally weld) this stuff, although that's something I am likely to attempt using an iron (with a teflon sole plate) that I don't intend to use on clothes any more....... Any ideas on scrim backing that will bond with epoxy and is inert to the kitty litter that will be in contact with it? The scrim itself is not a problem as the mesh takes up the epoxy well enough to secure it nicely.

| Re: Scrim bonding materials? why not take the same approach as AP with the scrim? While using kitty litter I never had a problem... M |

| Re: Scrim bonding materials? Anyone got a spare Inspiration scrim (or a source for them that will sell one or two to me without owning a unit and/or having a card for it) they'll part with?
