Ok, what is the truth, can you use kitty litter as a CO2 scrubber ?

From what I've heard, the brand isn't as important as the color and texture.

Thanks for that guys, that i`m not !!
The post was a geniune one, as i seem to remember a tv program on trying to copy equipment developed during WWII, one of which was a crude rebreather, made from bits and pieces in there workshop, and i`m pretty sure they were using kitty litter !!!!!!
Hence the reason for the post.

ah I know what your on about no they used sofnolime- TV programme crafty tricks of war?
The made a chariot and a rebreather? Thye tested the chariot in the lido about 500m behind where I'm sitting. They didn't pool dive their rebreather, used a dolphin instead.
